Brachylaena huillensis ★ SILVER OAK

An evergreen tree with a narrow crown and steeply ascending branches. It can be straight or multi-stemmed. The slender trunk has a rough bark that flakes in long narrow strips. The tree is often low-branching and can develop thin buttresses. The leaves are toothed, leathery and shiny green above, silvery whitish below. The flowers are tiny white or greenish-yellow in a cluster.
