Albizia gummifera ★ PEACOCK FLOWER

A deciduous tree up to 30 m tall with a straight cylindrical bole, sometimes with buttresses. The smooth bark is yellowish grey, with clear gum. The tree has a flat crown. The compound leaves occur in paired leaflets. The flowers are reddish white. While the fruit is an oblong flat pod reddish brown when ripe.
